She is an accomplished HR Expert with over 15 years combined experience in talent & leadership development, employee relations & engagement, change management, & organizational development. She has practical understanding of business needs, having worked with senior leadership teams to drive change and performance. She also possesses strong skills in leadership and project management. She is trained and has experience with gender mainstreaming in HR policies.

Nkem has worked as Head of Human Resources with a number of reputable organizations including Eko Electricity Distribution Company where she was the Ag. Chief Human Resources & Corporate services of more than 2000 employees, GTI Group and Garment Care Limited. As a proficient HR Consultant, she has also worked with a number of clients including TVC Communications, Stanbic IBTC Bank, KPMG, Visa Facilitation Services (VFS) and Skye Bank Call Center among others, delivering effective trainings for up to a thousand employees combined.
She is currently a Senior consultant with HR-EX consulting providing professional HR Services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
As a passionate gender equality advocate, Nkem has partnered with the USAID on a project implemented by United States Energy Association (USEA) to improve gender policies and gender outcomes in energy utilities in Nigeria. She participated at the USAID/USEA Regional workshop on Engendering Utilities in Stockholm, Sweden and also at the USAID/USEA Regional workshop on Gender Diversity Management and Customer Service Best Practices, Cologne, Germany.

Nkem is a Full Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM) of Nigeria. She holds the Human Resource Practitioners License, and the Learning and Development Professional (LDP) License. She holds a B.Sc in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Lagos State University.
